
Ingrid Keir is a poet and the founder and editor of Feather Press, an independent literary press based in the Bay Area. She also runs Toward The Light Healing, an energy healing practice. She has been a longtime curator of the literary community and has spent years creating spaces for writers to gather and grow through workshops and readings that center creative abundance and intentional care. She is co-founder of the WordParty, a long-running San Francisco poetry and jazz series, and has taught undergraduate Creative Writing at San Francisco State University.
Her poetry collections include Toward the Light (2007) and The Choreography of Nests (2016), and she is the editor of Tender Hearts Club, Volume One (2026), an anthology of love poetry. She holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from SFSU and offers poetry coaching, writing and editing services, and workshops that weave healing and wellness into the practice of writing.
Her work has been published in numerous publications; recent examples include Bare Hill Review, Colossus: Current, Petaluma Poetry Walk Anthology, and So It Goes. She was shortlisted for the Litquake Poetry Contest.
